White Tulips

White Tulips
I took this photo of white tulips in a park near my home in Auckland. I am only a beginner and trying to improve my photography. Feedback would be very much appreciated.
The camera used was a Panasonic DMC - F27. Aperture Mode: f8/0 and ISO 80. I used software to create the soft focus effect.
I think this is a good effort for outdoor flower photography. Nice soft effect. Keep up the good work!

3 Flowers by: Anonymous
Your Image is quite a good start.
Overall it is well composed and exposed.
However I think you are most trying to tell me about the 3 flowers in the foreground you have in sharp focus. The top has too much, or too many soft focus flowers. Cropping down to just above the highest placed flower, would be better. I focuses the viewer on what you want to say.
Also, in art, one object is good, 2 not so good, but 3 is sublime. By limiting the number of flowers to 3 you have multiple combinations and comparisons to keep the viewer looking. With 2 they compare the 2 without really seeing them while egaged in the comparison activity and quickly stop looking after ascertaining the difference. Lastly,
a slight crop on the right might strengthen as well.

Very Nice by: Pea_bea
When I first looked, it appeared with the soft focus you applied that I was looking into a mirror at a reflection of flowers. It looks like it was a good shot without the soft focus also. Very pretty.

My view by: Tony B.
Hi Bella,
I really like this image. It has a calm, pretty mood and I think the soft colours work really well together.
The soft focus effect is nice too. Very pleasing to the eye.
