Photo Sharing Web Sites

Welcome to our photo sharing web sites page.

Don’t keep your photos to yourself… the beauty of the digital age is how easy it is to share images. Gone are the days of sorting through negatives and paying for reprints; sending photos to family and friends takes minutes, and it is also virtually free. Digital cameras and the Internet have completely transformed the way we share photos. Rather than clogging up everyone’s in-box with emailed photos, use photo sharing sites to create a web photo album and just email them the link.

Family Photo Sharing

Technology today makes family photo sharing easy. In fact, one of the greatest things about digital cameras is how easy it is to share your photographs with anyone, anytime, anywhere via the Internet. You don’t have to email large numbers of photos to everyone in your address book either. A fat better solution is to publish your images in an online album format, and simply send everyone the link. This way, friends and family can view the images at their leisure.

There are an increasing number of websites that makes this task easy. Most of them even offer mail-order prints to you and your visitors. This service is not expensive either; in fact, there are free photo sharing sites that do a pretty good job.

Tips for Using Photo Sharing Sites

• There are a number of photo sharing sites on the web, with new ones emerging all the time. Visit a few such as www.fotki.com, www.pbase.com and www.photobox.com, then make a decision as to which one fulfils your needs.

• If your camera has a lot of megapixels, you might want to reduce the size of the images before uploading them to speed up the process. Some sites can do this automatically.

• If you want to share your photos with only a select group of people, make sure that the site you choose offer the option to add a password.
